On September 5, 2014 Micha Menczer gave a presentation on “A History of Border Issues at Akwesasne” at the Second International Border Security Summit. The Summit was attended by traditional and elected Aboriginal leadership from Canada and the United States , representatives from Homeland Security and Canada Border Security Agency officials and other delegates examining the legal and political issues created by the complexity of the borders at Akwesasne.
