On April 21, Kathryn Deo will be attending a gathering in Kelowna co-hosted by Musqueam and Westbank First Nation to discuss access to the First Nations Fiscal Management Act (“FMA”) for self-governments. She will be co-presenting with Councillors Jordan Coble (Westbank) and Alec Guerin (Musqueam) on the need for self-governments to have access to the tax powers under the FMA., and to push for solutions.
