Associate
Kevin lives and works in the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Kevin is building a practice focused on self-governance, on developing and amending legislation and regulations, and on consultation and accommodation issues.
Kevin was called to the Ontario bar in 2021, and to the British Columbia bar in 2024 and holds a Restricted Appearance Certificate in Nunavut. He holds an Hons. BA and an MA from McGill University and a JD from Queen’s University, where he was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Queen’s Law Journal.
Prior to joining Arbutus Law Group, Kevin’s practice focused on human rights and public interest litigation at a boutique civil litigation firm in Ottawa. He was also a mentor at Pro Bono Students Canada and often worked on public legal education materials. In Ottawa, he also worked as an Assistant Crown Attorney and at the Superior Court of Justice, East Region.
After the work day, Kevin enjoys cooking, attending concerts, trying new coffee shops, and biking.
